Get Your Restaurant Weeks ‘Prix-fixe’ Near Sienna

Houston Restaurant Weeks got underway this month giving foodies an opportunity to try new dishes and revisit old favorites while supporting the Houston Food Bank. The event takes place Aug. 1-Sept. 5.

Participating restaurants are serving up two-, three- and four-course prix fixe meal options for brunch, lunch and dinner. Brunch or lunch courses will be $25, and dinners will either be $39 or $55. Some of these restaurants are right next door to Sienna. Here’s where our residents will be dining. Stop by for a meal then visit us to choose your beautiful new home.

Churrascos Sugar Land

Sugar Land’s top Latin American steak house is serving up a two-course lunch for $25 and three-course dinner for $55. Selections include corn poblano soup, orange walnut salad, Churrasco Argentino and other favorites. The dinner menu includes desserts such as tequila bread pudding and delirio de chocolate. Dinner is also available to go. The restaurant will donate $6 from each dinner sold.

Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill

Voted the 2020 Best Mediterranean restaurant in the Houston area by readers of the Houston Press, Fadi’s will offer a three-course lunch for $25. The restaurant will donate $2 from every meal purchased. Diners will be able to choose any half sides from the line for their first course. The second course includes kebobs and Shawarma. Save room for dessert. The third course features baklava, flan and rice pudding.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille – Sugar Land

Houston Restaurant Weeks is the perfect time to hit Perry’s. The three-course, $55 dinner includes diner favorites such as the French onion soup or wedge salad, filet mignon, Perry’s famous pork chop, rib eye, seared scallop pasta and more. Don’t leave before you try the cheesecake for dessert. Perry’s will donate $6 to the Houston Food Bank. Dinner is available to go.

Saltgrass – Sugar Land

Here’s your chance to experience a three-course meal at Saltgrass for just $39. Courses include fried mushrooms, range rattlers, bacon-wrapped filet, Gulf Coast steak and shrimp, apple pie a la mode and more. Saltgrass will donate $4 from each dinner sold.

Silom Station

Experience Thai food like you’ve never tasted it before. The four-course dinner menu is $39 per person. Start with grilled octopus or shrimp ‘n blanket. Move on to Tom Yum soup then Drunken Noodle or Massman curry. If you still have room, there is Coconut Ice Cream. The restaurant will donate $4 from each dinner sold.

State Fare Kitchen & Bar – Sugar Land

Stop by State Fare for lunch or dinner and walk away happy. The $39 two-course lunch menu includes favorites such as jalapeno hushpuppies, the Fare fish tacos and more. For dinner you can select from a range of options that includes fried green tomatoes, chicken-fried ribeye and fried Oreos. State Fare will donate $4 from every meal sold.

Thai Cottage – Sugar Land

Get ready for more Thai food! Chicken crispy rolls, Thom Ka, roasted duck curry and fried bananas are all on the table. The four-course meal is $39 and Thai Cottage will donate $4 from each dinner sold.
