Astros fever continues

November 26, 2018

One of the many things that appealed to my husband out Sienna Plantation was its proximity to Reliant, Minute Made and The Toyota Center.  If you are a Houston Sports Fan, it's likely that you want to attend at least one or two games each season.  The Fort Bend Toll Road gets us to all three of these important venues without the inconvenience of a long drive.  We were fortunate enough to get to an Astros playoff game this October.   Even though I grew up going to Astros games with my Dad in the Astrodome, I'm not a huge baseball fan.  You do not have to be a huge baseball fan to enjoy your home team getting to the playoffs though (much less winning the World Series).  I did not get to get to go to a playoff game or world series game last season so I was super excited that I got to go see the Astros take on the Red Sox last month. Of course I wish the outcome had been different but it was still fun.  As most of us know, the Astros season ended without getting back to the world series and now that the season is over, they have 6 free agents.  I've heard it will be very interesting to see how it all plays out now, but die hard Astros fans tell me they are not worried- the Club will do what it has to ensure this special team keeps its key players and that 2019 will be another awesome season.
